Dr. Gallagher sits on the Advisory Board of Pebble+Oak. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA.
Dr. Gallagher’s research on the nonlinear phase transformation behavior of ferroelectric materials has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at numerous conferences and workshops. Dr. Gallagher’s research interests include characterization of ferroelectric constitutive behavior, energy harvesting, and enhancing education through technology.
After receiving his PhD at UCLA, Dr. Gallagher and his family moved back to the Northeast, where he is from.

When Dr. Gallagher isn’t teaching or consulting, he can be found running on the beach of South Boston with his family. He also finds his way to Colorado during the winter for the stellar powder days provided by the Rocky Mountains.
